As a Voiceover Artist, George Alan Ruth has lent to his voice to many commercials for such brands as Slice Pizza, Car Shield, Hershey’s Ice Cream, American Pecan Council, L’Auberge Baton Rouge Casino and The Jeep Store and narrated countless corporate videos for companies such as Puma, Siemens, Societe Generale, the Sacramento Rapid Transit System and the Dobson Ranch Golf Course. He’s been the live event announcer (“Voice of God”) for both the Robin Hood Foundation Investors Conference and Annual Benefit Gala, was the Public Address Announcer for the New Jersey Jackals independent baseball club for 14 seasons and has been a guest speaker at the Bruce Beck Sports Broadcasting Camp for the last 15 years. In his role as the Jackals PA Announcer, he founded two, unique experiential platforms: Jackals PA Announcer Fantasy Experience and Jackals PA Heroes, a program designed to give specials needs children and teens a special baseball experience as a Guest PA Announcer.
As a Certified Public Speaking Coach, George’s clients are left with an AWEdience, not just an audience. He has coached executives from Google, Amazon, IBM, LinkedIn, SnapChat and scores of other leading companies and his Gold Medal Speaker techniques significantly improve presentation, speech-giving, storytelling, elevator pitch and interviewing skills.
Prior to launching his career as a Voiceover Artist and Public Speaking Coach, George had a nearly 30-year tenure as Vice President of Sales at GRM Information Management Services, a global document management company that works with a wide variety of industries including law firms, financial services institutions and entertainment companies. Before that, he was a Vice President, Management Supervisor at Grey Advertising, overseeing strategic campaigns for major brands such as Kool-Aid and Red Lobster. George holds an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a BS in Marketing from American University.
A lifelong lover of the arts, George has also written several plays — five of which have been produced in one-act festivals in New York City. He’s not always behind the curtain, either. George has acted in several plays and even had a role in the Martin Scorsese classic, Goodfellas. But don’t blink because if you do, there’s a pretty good chance you’ll miss him.
He resides with his wife, Amie, daughter, Jill, and Pennsi and PJ, their two dogs, in Cedar Grove, New Jersey.
